It’s been a wonderful 2017 paddling season. Thank you for graciously allowing us to paddle your calm waters, sharing our passion for the water, and developing new relationships.

September 16th and Sept 17th, will be our last weekend at Fairy Lake during the 2017 Acton Fall Fair. We are excited to see the ground break for the new wheelchair accessible dock that will hopefully be ready (fingers crossed) for the 2018 season.

Canoe & Kayak Rentals

“Get the camera!!” I heard from residents of Acton on the opening day of our second location. What a day after the several months organizing the new project with the help of the Dufferin Rural Community Centre, and the Agricultural Society. We are very excited to offer this new program at Prospect Park to the Town of Halton Hills.

“We’re pleased to have this service offered to local residents” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “Canoeing on Fairy Lake offers families a great opportunity to learn more about nature while enjoying this amazing resource and being active.”

We will be reporting back to the town at the end of season and hope that this paddling season will bring lots of great memories for everyone. It is our hope the townspeople will enjoy this new safe fun family program that all kids will enjoy!

We have visitors from all over the provinces and the United States come and visit us at the Acton facility. With that a lot of people ask where can they go for their first paddle, and we always direct them to Fairy Lake, a five minute drive from the shop. For an Halton Hills visitors guide click here.

Wednesday July 9th, there is a Geocaching Fairy Lake Paddle event. For all the Geocachers, the GPS coordinates for the Canoe Rental location are:
N 43 degrees 37.768 minutes
W 080 degrees 02.761 minutes

We would like to give thanks to the Town of Halton Hills, the Acton Agricultural Society, Dufferin Community Centre as well as the Parks and Rec who have helped launch this wonderful opportunity.

Excitement is in the air. Holy Cow Canoe is gearing up to launch the second year for the new Canoe Outpost program at Fairy Lake, here in Acton, Ontario this summer starting May 30th 2015

Enjoy peaceful Fairy lake and fish out of a canoe all day if you’d like with a Holy Cow canoe rental. Take the kids fishing, enjoy nature and get outdoors for the day.

Daily rates as well as hourly rates are available. All Safety equipment is included with the rental. We’ll help you get into the water and off paddling with all the necessary equipment. Join us on our OPENING DAY! May 30th 2015
