Thank you for graciously allowing us to paddle your calm waters, sharing our passion for the water, and developing new relationships.

September 16th and Sept 17th, will be our last weekend at Fairy Lake during the 2017 Acton Fall Fair. We are excited to see the ground break for the new wheelchair accessible dock that will hopefully be ready (fingers crossed) for the 2018 season.

Please join us at the Paddle House! See you on the water.

Halton Hills, News Article

To the editor,

canoe donation

Jennifer Stanley with her Robin’s egg blue canoe.

I would like to bring your attention to some truly wonderful spirits who live and work in your community. This April the generous people at the Holy Cow Canoe Company donated a specially made $1800 canoe to me and my diligent friends.

Last year I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent a year of chemotherapy, and radiation treatment. My loved ones wanted to present me with a gift and contacted the Holy Cow Canoe Company to see if they could  scratch a deal. A deal was struck, one that would have never been anticipated. The company offered to make me canoe and in turn donate any money my friends put toward the price of the canoe to a cancer charity.

April 9, 2005, is when I was pleasantly surprised and in awe of the generosity of these business owners. I feel this kindness should be something your community would be proud to know.

Jennifer Stanley.
