I would like to bring your attention to some truly wonderful spirits who live and work in your community. This April the generous people at the Holy Cow Canoe Company donated a specially made $1800 canoe to me and my diligent friends.<\/p>\n

Last year I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent a year of chemotherapy, and radiation treatment. My loved ones wanted to present me with a gift and contacted the Holy Cow Canoe Company to see if they could\u00a0 scratch a deal. A deal was struck, one that would have never been anticipated. The company offered to make me canoe and in turn donate any money my friends put toward the price of the canoe to a cancer charity.<\/p>\n

April 9, 2005, is when I was pleasantly surprised and in awe of the generosity of these business owners. I feel this kindness should be something your community would be proud to know.<\/p>\n
